Tanzu Application Platform: Overview
This course provides an overview of what Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) is and describes the problems it aims to solve. It explains the main components that make up the platform, the processes of "Inner Loop" and "Outer Loop" development, and how the components help support those processes.
Lesson 1 7:01
Introduction to Tanzu Application Platform
VMware Tanzu Application Platform is a modular, application-aware platform that removes the friction for developing applications by providing an abstraction layer on top of any compliant public cloud or on-premises Kubernetes cluster. This video introduces the inner and outer loop development and operations experiences to build and deploy software quickly using Tanzu Application Platform.
Lesson 2 15:57
Inner and Outer Loop Demonstration
Members of the Tanzu team demonstrate both the developer and operator experience for VMware Tanzu Application Platform. They give a brief overview of what Tanzu Application Platform is and how it will help your organization go from developing code to securely running applications on any Kubernetes. They describe and demonstrate the "inner loop" process where developers build and iterate on an application, and the "outer loop" which provides the prepaved path to production defined by platform operators.
